Daniel Hull is an accomplished insurance and risk management professional with nearly 15 years of experience across the industry. He holds an MBA and the prestigious Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation, underscoring his commitment to delivering financial security and strategic risk management to businesses and individuals alike.

As the Co-Founder of My Policy Plug, Daniel specializes in providing comprehensive solutions across personal and commercial lines of property and casualty insurance, workers’ compensation, employment practices liability insurance (EPLI), payroll/HR, and benefits. With a focus on high-risk industries like Cannabis, HOA/Apartment/Condo Associations, and Private Client Personal Lines, Daniel and his team provide tailored risk mitigation strategies designed to protect clients from unforeseen liabilities and optimize insurance coverage.

Prior to founding My Policy Plug, Daniel held leadership roles in several top-tier organizations, including serving as CEO at KMH Insurance Group, which was acquired by First Choice Insurance Group in 2023 and serving at First Choice Insurance Group as the CEO until January of 2025.

Under his leadership, KMH Insurance Group and First Choice Insurance Group grew rapidly. Daniel has personally produced $12M in annual premium in his career amongst various carriers. This gives him the necessary experience to guide clients in their selection process when finding the right carriers for their situation.

As a Business Consultant, Daniel helps businesses optimize their HR, payroll, benefits, and risk management processes. His expertise in streamlining communication and operational workflows enabled clients to reduce inefficiencies, lower costs, and mitigate financial risks—all while enhancing employee engagement and business culture. This holistic approach allowed C-suite executives to focus on growth and vision, rather than being bogged down by administrative burdens.
